- The Model-P3B is a fully enclosed cage designed for small pets such as hamsters, rats, gerbils, and mice—especially those prone to escaping or chewing. It includes a connector panel with two circular openings, allowing the cage to connect with other GuineaLoft habitats using D1 tubes. Each tube opening features a round sliding door that can move upward to stay open or slide downward to instantly close the opening. The Model-P3B can connect with other GuineaLoft cages including Model-P4, Model-P5, the GuineaLoft Maze, and the GuineaLoft Cube to create a larger interconnected play structure for exploration and activity.
- The Model-P3B is also suitable for a single guinea pig that needs to live alone due to bullying, pregnancy, or other reasons. It can also serve as a comfortable transport cage when traveling by car or spending time outdoors. Additionally, the Model-P3B can connect with the Model-A, A2, or C2 cages to create an expanded roaming area for small pets such as guinea pigs and button quails.
- Please note that accessories such as wheels, D1 tubes, and hideouts are NOT included with the cage. These optional items can be purchased separately from our Amazon store.
- The bottom of this cage is not sealed. While bedding and solids will remain contained, liquids may occasionally seep through. A water-resistant disposable liner is included to catch minor leakage and can be reused several times before replacement. For small pets like hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats, leakage is uncommon because bedding typically absorbs most liquids.

- The acrylic walls help prevent bedding from being kicked out, keeping the area around the cage cleaner and more organized. In contrast, wire grid cages often allow bedding to scatter outside the enclosure, creating additional mess around the cage.
- The Model-P3B cage is a fully enclosed unit featuring a thick, fully openable acrylic lid and a fixed bottom. Every part is chew-proof and escape-proof. The lid flips open effortlessly, providing convenient access for feeding, cleaning, and interaction, and can be securely locked using our thumb screws.
- Cleaning the Model-P3B is remarkably easy. You can uninstall and reinstall a side panel in seconds. Instead of painstakingly scooping out dirty bedding, simply remove a side panel, carry the cage to a trash bin, and dump the bedding. Reinstalling the panel is just as easy. This is a true game-changer for cleaning enclosed cages like hamster habitats.
- ATTENTION: Small animals vary greatly in size and flexibility. We recommend observing your pets to ensure they cannot fit through the ventilation holes, which measure 0.4 inches (1 cm) wide by 1.6 inches (4 cm) high. These holes are typically small enough for most tiny pets. However, if your pets can fit through them, you can block the openings using our Hole Blocker accessory, available from our Amazon store.
