Standard hot-line grips are not supplied with springs or lock-open features. Grip safely holds 0.16 - 0.55-Inch Dia cables. Withstands maximum safe load of 8000-Pound. Hot-line grip to firmly hold steel stranded cable. Locking handle keeps jaw open while grip is placed on cable with a hot stick.
